This is a princess cake that I made for my best friend's niece Gabriella for her first birthday. I used chocolate fudge cake, buttercream filling and icing, and the cake is covered and decorated with Satin Ice fondant.
The theme of the party was princess, and I found this adorable princess cake topper at a local cake supply store. I chose the fondant and decor colors to coordinate with the colors of the princess's crown and dress.
The letters and ball border were made out of fondant and covered with disco dust to give some sparkle to this adorable cake for an adorable little princess.
